Students interested in the History of Text Technologies can major within the English department’s newest track: “Editing, Writing, and Media.” The new track focuses on the creation and interpretation of texts by combining practice in writing and editing with the study of cultural history and criticism. Courses connect writing practice and critical study so as to confront the new challenges of digital technology, visual culture, and the Internet.
